Today we pay tribute to award-winning author and fantasist Ray Bradbury, who passed away last night.
Bradbury authored more than 30 novels and 600 short stories. He is best known for _Fahrenheit 451_ (US and CA: http://goo.gl/edY0B), a tale of a futuristic world where reading is banned and books are burned. Some of his other iconic works include Something Wicked This Way Comes and The Martian Chronicles. Bradbury was recognized the world over for his contributions to science fiction and fantasy, and was awarded the World Fantasy Award for Lifetime Achievement, the 2004 National Medal of Arts, and an Emmy Award, among many others.
