Is it time for a Google+ resurgence?

Lots of people are talking on Twitter about Google+ as an alternative to evil Facebook, in light of the #DeleteFacebook movement sweeping the Internet.

Of course, the tech press is trotting out its snide remarks.

Verge editor Vlad Savov falsely says no one is recommending Google+ as an alternative:

Lauren Weinstein, on the other hands, says Google should offer a migration tool.

I think Google+ in fact is the answer to Facebook's meltdown and ongoing lack of integrity and transparency (and shitty search, etc.)

In the past few years, people have complained endlessly about harassment, bots, trolling, advertising abuse, the unethical third-party sharing of personal data, the use of advertising tools to warp public option, fake news and more.

These have been problems on Twitter and Facebook, but not on Google+.

What do YOU think. Is Google+ the answer to the Facebook fiasco?

  1. Question that comes to mind here. Has this not been a Problem at Google Plus because it isn`t or has it just been hidden better?
